Got (news) technology?
The necessary reinvention and rebuilding of the news industry requires intelligent and creative uses of new and emerging digital technologies. Today’s and tomorrow’s news providers do not have the luxury of focusing only on journalism.
At the Digital News Test Kitchen, we work with innovators, entrepreneurs, start-up and established technology companies, and news providers, teaming them with the research, testing, creative, and development resources of the CU community: journalists, digital-media experts, technologists and computer scientists, business and entrepreneurial specialists, and more.
Do you have a new or under-development digital product, service, or technology that could have a powerful news or media application (perhaps it wasn’t even designed with news or media in mind)? We may be able to help you with:
- Academic research project partnership (join us in the Test Kitchen).
- Testing for best-outcome scenarios with your product/service in a news application (mix the ingredients and taste testing).
- Spin-off development and testing of non-news technologies adaptable for news applications (cooking up new recipes based on your digital innovations).
