‘No comment’: Swift newspaper websites keeping user comments turned off

The Greeley Tribune and other newspapers owned by Swift Communications, which last April suspended their websites’ unruly user comments threads, are expected to keep comments turned off for much longer. The company, a partner in a Test Kitchen research project, suggests that comments don’t make much difference to the bottom line. >>>
